All Bird and Scenery Photo Galleries

Find Hundreds of Pictures Here

I've taken hundreds of pictures at Rockefeller State Park Preserve in Pleasantville, NY, and you can find them here. Organizing this many pictures is challenging, so I loosely followed the method Stand Tekiela used in his book "Birds of New York Field Guide."

The birds are organized by color and species group. For example, photos of northern cardinals, house finches, and scarlet tanagers are in the "Red Birds" gallery. Pileated, downy, and red-bellied woodpeckers are found in the "Woodpeckers" gallery.

If you are new to birding or bird photography, Tekiela's "Birds of New York Field Guide" (affiliate link) is an excellent reference and small enough to bring in your backpack when you hike.
